So, AF came and the timing works out that we CAN do another IUI this month. RE upped me to 100mg Clomid (thank goodness!) which I start on Saturday. I think this time I’m going to start it in the AM instead of the evening in the hopes of not having to wait until the last minute for the IUI. The 2nd day IUI would be on the day I leave for vacation with my daughter if my cycle follows the same pattern as last time which would mean leaving later than we had planned. Fortunately, it’s a road trip and we don’t have anywhere to be by a certain time (and I’m sure she’ll appreciate getting to sleep in), so we’re in good shape no matter what.
Even though I didn’t want to waste time on IUI’s, this cycle would have been shot otherwise, so better to do something than nothing. Funny how the timing worked out. Had I started tomorrow, all would have been a bust. Everything fell into place. Perhaps that is a sign (says the naive and hopeful half of myself). Also, the timing is perfect because I’ll spend the first 9 days of the 2ww on vacation with my daughter. What a great distraction!!!
Having family here has been great. My 18 month old nephew is so yummy…:) Gotta get back to them for now, but looking forward to catching you up in the near term. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend!

Thanks! I was really jazzed that it worked out so well. Trying not to tell myself it means this month was meant to be (false hope stuff). Not sure how well I would have handled sitting the month out altogether.
